In the centre of the cross is a circular medallion with the cypher of the Grand Duchess Elena Vladimirovna beneath the gold Grand Duchess’ crown. On the horizontal rays of the cross are the dates «1803» and «1903» and on the vertical the cyphers of the Emperors Nicholas II and Alexander I beneath Imperial crowns.Original pictures.
