Russian Imperial silver Badge, marking the graduation from the school #6 of infantry ensigns in Moscow, 1916
Silver home guard cross covered with white enamel. Between the arms of the cross are silver crossed axes. In the middle of the cross is placed a round gold wreath of laurel and oak branches, intertwined at the base with a gold ribbon. The badge is from Moscow infantry ensigns #6 – much rare than 1st or 5th school in Moscow. Silver, gilded, enameled. Size is 37 x 45 mm. Maker marks.
The badge was bought on Zeige 37 auction, 2010 lot 730 (please look at the last image).
