Russian Imperial silver pheasant, Faberge ?
This item is warranted at least 100 years old. Pheasant is cold painted. The body and the wings are either silver. Not steel or aluminums or bronze or brass. The feathers in the back are tin, but only the feathers. Very intricate detail. Wings are thick and part of the actual cast. This item is very nice and very old as you can tell by the crackle in the paint.
It measures approx. 12 1/2″ long, approx. 6″ high, approx. 2″ wide. I have this one and another similar one also up for auction, I have had them for years myself. Note the fancy curled tail feathers behind the rooster. No damage no repairs. Quite heavy for their size. Local pickup is always welcome. Best Offers Always Considered.
